Scholarships for attendance at an accredited college, university, trade, or business school shall be granted to active members of the Oregon Army and Air National Guard, Members of the Oregon National Guard Association (ORNGA), and/or their dependant children, or spouses. These scholarships shall be administered through the Oregon National Guard Association Scholarship Committee, and paid directly to the recipient and school of choice. Oregon National Guard Association will be presenting six $1500 scholarships for School Year 2010 at the ORNGA Conference 2010. Scholarships are awarded for demonstrated qualities of leadership, civic action and academic achievement. Available to: Active Members of the Oregon National Guard, the ORNGA, or their Spouses or dependant Children. Note: Current year recipients are not eligible, (winners for school year 2009-2010 may not apply until next year).
